Oddrun Lilja Jonsdottir — Norges Yogafestival

Oddrun Lilja Jonsdottir is a versatile and innovative composer and guitarist from Oslo and Reykjavik. As a composer, she was featured with the commissioned work for Vossa Jazz’s 50th anniversary in 2023, an audiovisual orchestral piece about artistic censorship for KORK that premiered at the Oslo Opera House in 2024, as well as LILJA’s third album.

As an artist, she tours internationally and has collaborated with musicians in places including India, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Iceland, and New York.

Her debut album Marble received glowing reviews, including a top rating of 6 out of 6 in Dagsavisen, and appeared on several year-end best album lists in Dagsavisen, Subjekt, and Klassekampen.

On the follow-up album, Mirage, LILJA collaborated with four tradition-bearers from different parts of the world: Sápmi, Pakistan, Morocco, and Brazil. The album was nominated for a Spellemann Award in the Open Category.

This summer, she will perform at Norges Yogafestival at Nøsen. We are very much looking forward to it!
