Terms and conditions

1. Booking procedure

Each person must accept these booking conditions when making a reservation. Your booking is considered definite, and a contract exists between you and Nøsen, only when a letter of confirmation has been sent to you.

2. Workshop and hotel room prices

Workshop pricing and inclusions are listed individually for each event. Nøsen reserves the right to adjust hotel rates for seasonal variations and may modify published prices before a booking is confirmed.

3. Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 3 PM; early arrival requires advance purchase and confirmation of availability. Guests arriving after 8 PM should notify the hotel. Check-out is at 11:00 AM on the departure date. Late check-out incurs a 100 NOK hourly fee and must be requested in advance; departures after 2 PM are charged as an additional night. Unpaid café purchases are charged to the registered card.

4. Non-smoking policy

The entire facility is smoke-free, including rooms, corridors, bars and restrooms. Violations carry a 5,000 NOK penalty.

5. Pets

Pets are welcome in dog-friendly rooms for a 150 NOK nightly surcharge. Animals are not allowed in kitchens, dining areas, living spaces or yoga/meditation rooms. The owner is responsible for, and carries all costs of, any damage the animal may cause. Pets require constant owner supervision outside guest rooms.

6. Cancellation and refund policies

Written cancellations receive proportional refunds by timing: 91+ days before, 90%; 90-15 days before, 50%; 14-8 days before, 25%; 7 days or less, non-refundable. Medical documentation guarantees a 75% refund for pre-event cancellations. Once the stay begins, no refunds apply. Third-party bookings (Booking.com, Airbnb and similar) follow their own policies. Parking: hotel guests park free; other visitors pay 100 NOK per 24 hours or 500 NOK weekly; EV charging is 300 NOK per 24 hours. Nøsen may cancel reservations with a full refund, and program details (accommodation type, instructors, scheduling) may change with notice. No compensation is paid where Nøsen must cancel or change your holiday due to force majeure.

7. Insurance & health

Full travel insurance covering medical expenses and belongings is strongly recommended. Guests must confirm their fitness for yoga and physical activity with their physician.

8. Liability

Nøsen ensures advertised services meet reasonable standards and accepts responsibility for employee and supplier negligence resulting in death, injury or illness under Norwegian law. Locally arranged optional activities fall outside this responsibility.

9. Complaints

Immediate notification lets staff resolve issues. Unresolved concerns must be reported in writing on departure. Nøsen cannot guarantee gender ratios or control individual guest conduct.

10. Passports, visas and health requirements

Guests are solely responsible for valid documentation, required visas and necessary vaccinations.

11. Privacy policy

Guest information is used internally only and kept confidential from third parties. By booking, guests consent to email about similar offerings and promotions based on legitimate interest. Customer data is typically retained for up to 5 years from the last interaction or booking. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option, or contact post@nosenyoga.no.

12. Equipment rental

Equipment is used entirely at the tenant's risk; compensation claims require demonstrating gross negligence. The tenant is fully responsible for all rented and lent equipment during the rental period. Damage, loss or theft is charged to the tenant in full.
